The Originals - Hey Harper

Our latest campaign for Hey Harper, The Originals.

The Challange:

The jewelry category is incredibly crowded, and most brands are using the same visual language, the same aspirational imagery, and making very similar claims. At the same time, we're living in a world where people are increasingly surrounded by AI-generated content, polished perfection, and things that often feel a little artificial.

The challenge was to create a YouTube campaign that stood out, felt culturally relevant, and reinforced Hey Harper's position as the original waterproof jewelry brand without relying on a traditional jewelry ad and leading into entertainment based content.

The Problem:

While Hey Harper has a strong product story, simply talking about waterproof jewelry isn't enough to grab attention anymore.

What became interesting was the wider cultural conversation happening around AI and authenticity. Everywhere you look, content is becoming more generated, more polished, and sometimes harder to trust. That felt like an opportunity.

The question became: how do we make Hey Harper feel real in a world that's starting to feel increasingly fake?

The Solution:

We landed on "The Originals" a surreal comedy campaign built around the idea that as the world becomes more artificial,
Hey Harper remains real.

Rather than creating another glossy jewelry commercial, we use humour and escalating absurdity to explore a world where AI logic starts creeping into everyday life. Across the films, reality slowly becomes more synthetic, more polished and more bizarre, while the jewelry remains the one thing that never changes.

By leaning into the AI conversation instead of avoiding it, the campaign gives Hey Harper a distinctive voice and a fresh way into talking about authenticity. The films are designed to entertain first, but underneath the comedy sits a simple brand truth:

In a world full of fakes, be original.

It's a campaign that allows us to talk about product quality, originality and authenticity in a way that feels current, memorable and uniquely Hey Harper.
