We were assigned the task of crafting a sleek intro and outro sequence for the feature film "The Draw." The film resides in avisually rich world characterised by common colour themes and a strong visual identity. Our goal was to expand the film's world into the credit sequence by establishing characters and the film's key moments in small vignettes.
Our concept was straight forward: We aimed to play with coloured light projections and stencilled cutouts of key moments within the film. By projecting the light behind the stencil, we cast shadows onto a dark, papered background, which permitted highly dynamic movement as the light moved across each scene, unveiling the credit text.
